The Ola Foundation in association with the non-profit organization Give India has offered 10,000 oxygen concentrations across India. It is part of the company’s O2forIndia initiative and people who can use the Ola app can receive free doorstep delivery of oxygen concentrations.
Ola to Offer Doorstep Delivery of Oxygen Concentrators Across India
According to Ola CEO Bhavish Agarwal, the company will validate requests sent through the Ola app and deliver oxygen concentrations to your doorstep. Also, Ola will pick it up even when you don’t need it. You do not have to pay for concentrates and transportation fees.
“We must come together and help our communities during these unprecedented times…We hope this initiative brings much-needed support during these very difficult times and helps in mitigating the pain and the anxiety among those impacted,” wrote Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal on Twitter.
Ola’s O2forIndia initiative is starting in Bangalore this week and the company plans to expand it across India in the coming weeks. “Through this initiative, we will provide oxygen concentrations to those who recover or separate at home, right at their home. We hope that easy access to oxygen will ease the crisis for many patients, ”said Atul Satija of GiveIndia in a statement.
