Today, the folks at XDA Developers have managed to get the official wallpapers of the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, and they look amazing.
Now, XDA has gained access to Pixel 6 wallpapers by fooling the Google Wallpapers app. As the Mountain View giant has already revealed many details of the devices, the XDA developers managed to trick the Google Wallpapers app into reflecting the building qualities of the Pixel 6 Pro. As a result, the Wallpaper app “thought” it was running on the 6 Pro. Thus, it revealed the new unreleased Pixel devices system wallpapers. You can see the preview of the wallpaper below.
In the upcoming Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, you will get a total of 12 wallpapers. Their resolution is 1440 x 3120p, which is also the expected screen resolution of the Pixel 6 Pro.
Now, it is important to note that all wallpapers have a default layout that is centered around the punch hole cutout in the top center. So if you don’t have the same punch cutout on your device, the wallpaper might look a bit odd. However, you can always keep an enlarged view to hide the perforated section of the wallpaper.
